Auditions
| Macomb Ballet Company Open Auditions Macomb Center for the Performing Arts Black Box (Stage II) Registration- half hour prior to each audition A second audition will be held in September, date and times TBA Saturday, September 6th, 2008 Senior MBC Auditions (must be 14 years old by January 1, 2009) Ages 14-25: 10:30 AM - 12:15 PM Junior MBC Auditions (must be 8 by January 1, 2009) Ages 12 and up: 12:15 – 1:15 PM Ages 8 - 11: 1:15 – 2:00 PM click here for a printable flyer The audition will be in the form of a ballet class with barre and center work. Audition attire for girls is a solid black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and hair in a bun. Boys are to wear solid black dance pants, a white T-shirt and ballet slippers. Female dancers who are on pointe should bring pointe shoes for both auditions. There is a $15 audition fee or $25 for both auditions of the Junior & Senior MBC. The Macomb Ballet Company will be performing Nutcracker on December 12 – 13, 2008 and The Sleeping Beauty on May 15 -16, 2009 at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts.
