Audition process
The Macomb Ballet Company selects its dancers through annual open auditions. Dancers can enhance their training with MBC without having to leave their home studio. Dancers must be between the ages of 8-19. The auditions are in the form of a ballet class with barre and center work. Audition attire for girls is a solid black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and hair in a bun. Boys are to wear solid black dance pants, a white t-shirt and ballet slippers. Female dancers who are on pointe should bring pointe shoes. There is a $25 audition fee.
